Nigeria: Ministry trains 40 armed forces, para-military personnel on disease outbreaks


The Ministry of Defence Health Implementation Programme  (MODHIP) has trained 40 armed forces and para-military health personnel on diseases outbreak investigation and management.

Speaking during the training yesterday in Abuja, Director General of the Defence Health Implementation Programme, Brigadier General Nuruddeen Hussain, said that the training was aimed at building the capacity of armed forces and para-military health personnel as frontlines to respond promptly and effectively to outbreaks within the barracks and other assigned areas of responsibilities.
