India-Japan Talks To Focus On Defence And Security

India and Japan will hold their ‘2+2’ dialogue this week with the participation of foreign and defence secretaries of both countries as the bilateral focus shifts slightly from infrastructure and economy to defence and security. The defence secretaries are expected to meet on Monday, with the ‘2+2’ scheduled for Tuesday.

India and Japan may hold their first round of Army exercises, which will be a first, before November, when PM Narendra Modi will visit Tokyo.
