New developments suggest coronavirus incubation could be longer than 14 days, as global infections rise


There are some indications that the incubation period for the coronavirus could be longer than 14 days, with patients testing positive after much longer quarantine periods, researchers said. The rush to understand the virus came as infections rose in South Korea, Japan, Iran and Italy.

The head of the World Health Organization warned that the window for stopping the epidemic was narrowing.
