EU assists in Brunei’s preparedness against CBRN risks


The European Union Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Risk Mitigation Centres of Excellence Initiative (EU CBRN CoE) recently facilitated a workshop at the Radisson Hotel, to explore options for multi-agency cooperation by means of a Table-Top Exercise.

Attended by a team of officials responsible for the management of CBRN risks, the two-day event also served to identify lessons and make recommendations for future actions within the CBRN National Action Plan (NAP) of Brunei Darussalam.Christian Ramage, the French Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam, who was also present during the exercise said, “The workshop brought together the CBRN National Team of Brunei Darussalam under the lead of the Prime Minister’s Office, and will help the team in further refining the draft of the CBRN NAP of Brunei Darussalam.”
