Kazakhstan takes experience from Georgia in aviation security

A delegation from Kazakhstan is visiting the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency (GCAA) for an exchange in aviation security.

The Kazakhstan delegation includes high officials from airline company Air Astana, from Kazakhstan Civil Aviation Committee and those responsible for aviation security at Astana’s and Aktau’s international airports.

The four-day visit started on April 24 and the main goal is for the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency to share with Kazakhstan its experience in developing regulatory legislation for achieving International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) standards.

Also, the GCAA will introduce its practical experience of the audit conducted by the ICAO in 2015 that the GCAA went through successfully.
